Role and Responsibilities
As an Operations Assistant, you will support the smooth execution of daily postal operations. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with USPS procedures and maintaining operational efficiency across departments.
- Assist in managing and organizing daily mail distribution operations
- Track and report operational data to ensure delivery benchmarks are met
- Support the preparation of reports, logs, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with other postal departments and staff to resolve operational challenges
- Ensure adherence to USPS safety and procedural guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels for supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed
- Support scheduling and communication related to delivery routes and staff shifts
